an independant,
integrated
advertising agency.

+27 was created with the belief that the exponential growth of technology has forever changed the way consumers interact with brands. Media no longer controls the conversation, consumers do. Consumers who will only become more empowered, more in control of what they don’t want to see. At +27, we optimize all we do against them.

The filter through which we measure our success is a simple one. The work must play where the audience is playing. Secondly, it must be shared, talked about and must deliver measurable results. We have a proven track record of successfully building brands that help them thrive today and in the future.

We would love to talk to you about your brand.

prenneven govender
Executive Creative Director and Managing Partner

Over the last 14 years, over three continents, Adrian has creatively led three network agencies, sat on the worldwide creative board of two of them and built an agency of his own in South Africa. His ability to work outside of his comfort zone and adapt to different markets has enabled Adrian to succeed in each market that he has worked in.

Adrian has led teams of multi-skilled creative people, strategists and inter-agency partners in Singapore, Malaysia, India and South Africa to create work that has won effectiveness, consumer, and numerous regional and international creative awards for some of the world’s largest brands.

He first helped build Lowe KL into one of the network’s top 8 performing offices. At Saatchi KL, Adrian’s hands-on leadership approach as ECD helped build the agency into one of the Gunn Report’s top 50 agencies in the world and the second most awarded agency in Asia, which led to his eventual appointment as ECD across both Saatchi Singapore and Malaysia. During Adrian’s stewardship, the agency also won three consecutive agency of the year titles. Adrian’s cultural versatility and ability to manage and build large brands across multiple markets, allowed him to take on India, the world’s second-largest market, as Chief Creative Officer of JWT Delhi - the third largest JWT office in the world. There, he relaunched Airtel, the largest telco in India. The launch work went on to win at Cannes.

Adrian’s main focus now is to use his integrated expertise to help move clients into a space where they are creating work that delivers an effective brand experience. Work that people share, play with and talk about across all platforms. Adrian has judged at Cannes, Clio, D&AD, AWARD, Adfest, Spikes, and served as chairman at the South African Loerie Awards. He has twice had work ranked in the top 10 of the Gunn Report. He has also won multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions plus Gold awards at The One Show, Clio Awards, AdFest, Spikes Asia and London International Awards.
